Webinar on Writing a Compelling Abstract

This webinar will capacitate young scholars interested in participating in the workshop on how to write a wining abstract. The 30 minutes webinar will be facilitated by Dr. Claudia Sanchez Bajo. Dr Sanchez Bajo is Fellow Researcher at the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Economics, and was, in 2018, Guest Professor at the University of Kassel and, in 2016, Visiting Scholar at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, at the University of Texas at Austin. She has a PhD in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague (part of Erasmus University Rotterdam). She was the Inaugural Chair in Cooperative Enterprises at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Winnipeg, Canada between 2013 and 2015, where she developed full courses among other activities to create the Specialisation on Cooperative Enterprises within the Business Department. Her research is currently focused on cooperative entrepreneurship in socio-economic development and peacebuilding. Among other publications, in 2019, she has had a chapter in the book ‘Cooperatives and the world of work’ published by Routledge. In 2017, she published a teaching case study at Ivey Cases on Business Management on cooperatives. Also, in 2017, she co-edited the last issue of the ICA Review of Co-operative Studies, with a focus on Latin American research on cooperatives. She is ICA CCR board member since September 2017 and has been reconducted as from September 2021 (the International Cooperative Alliance committee of cooperative research).
