Description
Last time due to some unknown technical problems we could not run the reading session. That is why, we reorganize a reading session on the same paper to discuss Philip Mirowski to explore the Ontology of Markets from a critical perspective.
Mirowski (2007) raises various questions concerning the nature of markets within Economics that illuminates the non-reducible nature of markets as distinct entities. It is a thought-provoking read and can open up a discussion for further research to build a better understanding of markets and its development.

Besides, it is mandatory to read the paper, since the discussion will be specifically based on the paper of each reading session.
First 30 minutes we will discuss key points from the paper. Then, we will move on to elaborate, criticize or analyze the ideas stated and try to connect the reading to the overall picture of the reading group.
Please do join us if you are interested. Looking forward to having a fruitful discussion on the Markomata Theory!
