His Holiness Pope Francis’ Three New Economic Questions Webinar Series
After the pope shared with us which three questions he thinks young scholars should work on, we are coming together to discuss.
This week, we unpack the pope’s second question (below), with help from Rob Johnson (INET), Mariana Mazzucato (UCL), Juan Maquieyra (Escuela Politica Frattelli Tutti), and Peter Barnes (thinker and entrepreneur).
*"Taking into account that the administration of household goods requires its rules, its laws: what could be those laws that put the economy at the service of fragility? What should the relationship between economics and politics be like to ensure that everyone has what is necessary to live a fulfilling life?"*
Date: 5 May, 12pm ET
Format: virtual
