We've all heard bits of Schumpeter's theory – creative destruction, innovation, business cycles and entrepreneurship – but have any of us actually read him? We continued our exploration of Schumpeter's work by reading and discussing "Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy" with Schumpeterian scholars through six stimulating episodes. Today at 19 CEST we will have the last session of our webinar series Reading Schumpeter. In these two months we had the chance to read and also question the third most quoted text in Economics. Today we will discuss its position in the economic literature and also how it stands the test of time. As the third most quoted book in Economics, where does it stand compared to the other two? Is it misinterpreted, is it prophetic enough for our shamanic profession?
This webinar series was conceptualized by our undisputed Schumpeterian Leader Dr. Beniamino Callegari, who has not only provided notes for every chapter (see below) but has also invited prestigious scholars to contribute to our series.
