Get involved! New YSI Project on Early Career Challenges

Dear Coordinators and Organizers,

We are pleased to announce that we will start a new project to support young scholars both during their studies as well as in their transition into a professional career.

The project will include interviews with YSI alumni on their professional career, talks with journal editors, resources for teaching and research, and more. We will host some events for you, and also provide a template for working groups to organize their own.

The first activity under this project will consist of a series of interviews with YSI alumni. We are aware that young new economic thinkers face unknown or unclear career paths. To support young scholars in choosing a professional pathway and successfully starting their career, we will carry out a series of interviews with YSI alumni to hear about their stories, their learnings, and the challenges they faced.

We are looking for volunteers with an interest in this project to help us conduct the interviews and other tasks related to the project. If you or any member of your working group is interested in getting involved, please send nicolas.aguila@youngscholarsinitiative.org an email by May 31st.

Thank you!
All the best,

Nicolás Aguila
