Effective writing in in Economics Workshop Series –

Please join us for the first of a series of three online writing workshops designed to help you improve your academic writing in economics. The workshops will focus on such topics as syntax and style in academic writing, framing and making arguments, and clear and simple writing. Even though each workshop will be to some extent independent from the others, our plan is that the second and third workshops will pick up on issues raised at the first workshop. The workshops will be conducted by Paul Dudenhefer, a managing editor with Duke University Press and former writing tutor for the economics department at Duke University. Paul has conducted writing workshops for INET, the European Central Bank, and the History of Economics Society. The next workshops will be on the 30th of November 2023 and the 21st of December 2023 at 10:00 am EST respectively.
