About the event

The [GF23 Global Futures Conference] aims to unite diverse stakeholders worldwide, including public and private sectors, academia, Indigenous communities, and youth, to drive transformative actions for the planet's salvation. Building upon the outcomes of the previous GF22 conference, which established the "10 Must Haves Initiative" outlining crucial areas and actions for global betterment, GF23 seeks to gather an empowered alliance of global citizens to ensure the effective implementation of these imperatives.

Young Scholars Participation

INET's Young Scholars Initiative in parternship with Global Futures will provide to selected participants the opportunity to make part of this groundbreaking event in the middle of the Climate Week of New York, where many events will be happening to discuss climate change challenges and actions. Also, YSI will offer a session in which participants can present their ongoing work related to climate change and sustainability actions.

• When: 19-21 September 2023
• Where: In the Nest Climate Campus on the 4th floor of the Javits Center.
• Who: Young scholars, entrepreneurs and social-changers working with climate-change related issues.
• Submission Deadline: August 31

The selection outcome will be delivered after the submission deadline.
Selected participants not based in New York will be offered accomodation and partial travel stipends
