Co-operative scholars, particularly those early in their academic career, often find it difficult to find avenues for publication- an issue that have longer term professional implications. This panel will address some of those issues and offer tips for how emerging co-operative scholars can adapt their often inter-disciplinary research to the current academic landscape.
This webinar will take place within the ICA-Asia Pacific Young Scholars Workshop. Because this is a topic that affects so many of us in this field, we will be livestreaming the panel discussion through this webinar.
The format will begin with short presentations by conference attendees about the barriers that they have experienced in getting their research published. The four panelists will then do short 5 minute presentations based on their experiences and will offer tips and advice for emerging scholars. We will then have opportunities for Q&A from the field.
Panel Discussion:
Professor Morris Altman (Dundee University)
Professor Branka Krivokapic-skoko (Southern Cross University)
Asst. Prof. Olivera Marjanovic,(University of Technology Sydney)
Professor Paul Thamba (Monash University Melbourne)
