The Finance, Law, and Economics Working Group is happy to welcome you to the last webinar on cryptocurrencies with Srinivas Yanamandra. As a wrap-up session, Srinivas invites us to explore the concept of Cybersecurity and its key regulatory challenges during our next meeting that will be held on Friday, November 17 at 17:00 (CET).
Description of the event:
Distributed ledger technology – commonly referred as Blockchain – has emerged as a candidate for financial institutions to reform their businesses. The speed and cost of doing business using distributed ledger technology are expected to improve by simplifying back-office operations and lowering the need for human intervention.
However, a number of security concerns around this new technology remain unexplored and regulators around the world are developing new frameworks in order to tackle the most pressing cybersecurity concerns. This webinar analyzes the key cybersecurity concerns surrounding the blockchain technology and the regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions to address them.
