YSI/FLE meetups in the age of coronavirus – Call for Presentations

Dear all,

If research work can feel lonely while working at the University or the library, it might feel lonely even more when we are at home alone.
In this period of social distancing we want to harness the power of YSI virtual channels to strengthen our community by sharing our work, ideas and thoughts.
It will be a good way for members of the Finance, Law, Economics working group to stay in touch and make everybody feel more energized and motivated.
The format of the meetups will involve an individual short presentation (15 min) followed by an informal discussion (15/20 min).
Meetups will be taking place on Wednesdays.

We welcome proposals for presentations on:

  1. Our own draft papers, dissertation chapters;
  2. PhD proposals and Post-doc proposals;
  3. Articles and books you have recently read and you think represent a significant contribution to your field of study.

The presentations should address RegTech, FinTech, banking and financial regulation, monetary and fiscal policy, property and contract-based institutional arrangements, relationship between public and private law, environmental law and policy, sustainable finance, governance of economic globalisation (trade, investment, taxation and labour regulation) or any other topic that fit within the scope of the working group.

We will accept presentation proposals on a rolling basis. To present please send us an abstract (up to 300 words) to:
luisa.scarcella91@outlook.com
astojanovic@ineteconomics.org

We will get in touch with you as soon as we can.

Remember this is not a formal presentation, don't feel judged and/or under pressure.
See you online!
