Tinashe Nyamunda is an associate professor in the Department of Historical and Heritage Studies at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He obtained his PhD in Africa Studies from the University of Free State in 2016. His main research interests are primarily in the twentieth and twenty-first century monetary and economic history of Southern Africa.
